Party Favorz is back to make the unbearably hot days even hotter. Yes, Georgia has had oppressive heat since May but it appears to have subsided to a more reasonable 90 degrees (Fahrenheit) for the next week with low 70s for our evenings. The humidity is still 100% but we've had a lot of rain so that offsets it for a hot minute until the rain goes away and it feels worse. Summer Melt is a melting pot of genres containing the latest Dance Club tracks from House, Melodic House, NuDisco, EDM, Tech House, and Latin House. It's everything going on in dance music with unexpected surprise reworks of classic tracks. There were so many of these — I went back this morning and tightened the set up by throwing several songs out. It hurts but it had to be done. I apologize to anyone who I may have told I would use their songs in this series but when you're pouring over hundreds of songs for a single set — sometimes they get lost in the shuffle. Keep sending your promos because I do use them whenever possible. Party Favorz is all about the small independent labels and we do our best to promote music that flies under the radar. In the interim, Summer Melt is just what the doctor ordered along with your favorite beer or margarita while trying to cool down at the beach or poolside. August is just around the corner and this year, the entire month will be devoted to the queen...MADONNA. Party Favorz is working on a comprehensive set of all her classic dance tracks from the beginning to the current day in their original release form. We expect 5 volumes in total (though it might only be four). Honestly, we had no idea she was releasing "Finally Enough Love" featuring her 50 #1 dance club hits, which was our goal as well. Though, that release will be the truncated dance versions of those songs while Party Favorz plans on delivering a non-stop historical party of all her biggest club hits and some that were for DJs only with minimum editing involved. There's also a best of the bootlegs album that will drop after the initial releases. I promise, we're not trying to step on anyone's toes and if she wants them for streaming — she's welcome to them (though a little compensation would be nice for all the hard work). This series is strictly intended as a fan effort because we know a lot of you are diehard fans. As you can see, we have a BIG August scheduled for everyone's enjoyment. Since this is going to be a massive effort, I need to finally take that time off I keep telling everyone I'm going to take but never do. Party Favorz has been going non-stop since February and frankly, it's taking a toll on me. I have personal things that need attending to that I keep putting off and no longer can. So, I will be taking two weeks off before we start rolling out our final Madonna tribute series because we want to go out with a bang for our final year. Until the next time...ENJOY! It's been a hot minute since our last Circuit & Anthems set and for a good reason. Party Favorz was doling out a marathon of gay anthem classics that 1) there wasn't enough time to complete a circuit set for Pride and 2) there weren't enough worthy new tracks to compile a Pride set. The good news is that good things come to those who wait. Summer Edition 2022 features the cream of the crop in circuit anthems for your summer workouts and/or pure enjoyment. This one is for the boys that enjoy that big room tribal sound with progressive elements sprinkled throughout. Speaking of progressive elements — Mor Avrahami has been on a roll with his releases. It's always good to mix these sets up and Avrahami in the vein of Offer Nissim and Yinon Yahel — has been churning out the goods one right after another. Don't be surprised that he shows up here quite a bit. Just know that some of his great releases had to be cut out to keep this set tight. I also want to point out that "Daddy" by Sleepsleep & Tahlia Paris takes on a new life once Jace M & Toy Armada got their hands on the song. They've sampled the disco classic "Relight My Fire" by Dan Hartman. To my knowledge, this song has never been sampled before because it doesn't lend itself to a specific hook. It's one of those epic disco classics that starts with a prelude and three minutes later veers into the actual song. In this case, neither has any association with the other but merely connects the two parts. Jace and Toy sampled the prelude for the basis of "Daddy" turning the darker original into a fun tribal-disco romp that's bound to pack floors around the world. I don't think most DJs would have thought to sample that aspect of the song because it's just okay but damn if it doesn't work so well here. There's a lot to get excited about in this latest release but I'll let the music do the talking. I should be back next week with our Summer Melt series featuring the latest Dance Club hits and club tracks heating up dancefloors. Until the next time...ENJOY! Party Favorz is back with the annual edition of Beach House, which features the biggest house music songs of the summer. You will notice that the latest releases 'Break My Soul' by Beyonce and 'Massive' by Drake are included. At the moment, these two mega artists are being credited for the resurgence of House Music when that couldn't be further from reality. The truth is, House Music never went anywhere and has continued to be enjoyed throughout the world's clubs for decades since its introduction in the mid-80s. Like every musical genre — House Music has had its moments of commercial popularity before going back underground and then resurfacing again. House Music was already having a major commercial impact in the UK with the massive remake of the Rufus & Chaka Khan 'Tell Me Something Good' by Scottish DJ Ewan McVicar. At this very moment, 'Afraid To Feel' by LF System is not only topping the Beatport charts but virtually every Spotify dance music list as well as peaking at #2 only being held back by the unexpected resurgence of the 80s alternative hit 'Running Up That Hill' by Kate Bush. As with most musical trends — The UK leads the way followed by Europe and then the rest of the world. Even without Beyonce and Drake entering the fray — House Music was already poised to make a comeback. As such, the first quarter of Beach House starts with some heavier House tunes that are all the rage at the moment. The Dirty Disco remix of 'Break My Soul' is possibly some of the best work the duo has ever laid down. One other bit about BMS that's bothering me is the crediting of the writers for the Robin S classic 'Show Me Love.' BMS uses a standard House Music loop that's been prevalent throughout House Music since the early 90s. SML was originally released in 1990 but it wasn't until 1992 when the Swedish duo StoneBridge remixed it adding the familiar, hook-laden loop that the song blew up across the globe making it an instant House classic. BMS does not sound anything like the song they're giving credit to. It's funny because BMS has more in common with another 90s House Music classic 'Push The Feeling On' as remixed by Marc Kinchen (MK). This is another one of those tracks where the original failed worldwide success until it was remixed going from a Euro-techno track to a House Music Track. Even then, I wouldn't necessarily give songwriting credit to the Nightcrawlers or MK either. In this hyper-lawsuit-driven world where successful artists are frequently sued for infringing on an existing work — it's understandable that the label may want to get ahead of it and just give out songwriting credit before people start lawyering up. This is one of those instances where common use comes into play. Still, the writers of SML got credit and Robin S got a bouquet of white roses, so I guess everyone's happy. Most importantly, Party Favorz thinks that our House Music lovers are not only gonna be happy but thrilled with this year's Beach House offering. There's a bit of Disco-House and Deep House giving it that summer feels you'd expect so as not to disappoint our discerning listeners. We've had this on repeat this last week and it really hits all the marks. Until the next time...ENJOY! Album: Beach House 2022Genre: House, Deep House, Disco HouseYear: 2022Total Time: 03:36:41 1. Originally, the plan was to create a Block & Crown Legacy set that was to be released in November but time constraints got in the way and so the project was shelved. Coming up on the holiday weekend, I decided to pull out all the tracks I've amassed over the years of classic mashups and bootlegs by these (guys?) and create one giant throwdown party. Not much is known about this duo or even if it's a collective of one (kinda like Party Favorz). Over the years, many of these songs have appeared on various Dance Club, Peak Hour, and Disco House releases while the majority have not. They have no explicit style but share an affinity for dance music in all its glorious forms. Many songs will be a familiar hook from a classic disco song or 80s dance track that's been mashed with an equally familiar Hip Hop song from the 90s. Oftentimes, they use the original vocalist while other times it's a different singer made to sound like the original. Either that or the vocals were altered possibly due to licensing rights. The titles of the tracks will mostly be unfamiliar to you until you listen to each song and you'll be like "damn! I know that/these song(s)." While Block & Crown have owned this space for quite some time, other DJs have dabbled in it as well. People like Richard Grey, Softmal, Nari, Lissat, and others have also generated a bunch of these mashups. More recently, Ghostmasters, The Soul Gang, Ghostbusterz, and Disco Gurls have been picking up a lot of the slack. I could be wrong but I believe the people behind these aliases are Nacho Chapado & Ivan Gomez who have been distributing these remixed gems on their Guareber Recordings imprint. Their focus has been primarily on 80s dance though occasionally they stray from that decade. I've pulled from many of the best to create this early summer dance classics throwback that can be enjoyed at BBQs, family outings, or poolside by every age group. This set includes songs from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, and even a couple of recent songs that meld into the overall vibe of this set. Some songs are just straight-up reworks reimagined for today's dancefloor much like our 'Thank God It's Disco' series but expanded into a wide range of decades. A lot of songs were removed because of the difficulty of mixing them into a seamless set. This is generally because many of the endings of the songs weren't DJ-friendly and just cut off. So, there was a lot of great stuff that had to be dropped. Nevertheless, I've had the 'Summer Throwback Dance Party' on repeat for the past week and it is one epic party throwdown to be shared and enjoyed by all. If you want to forget about inflation, high gas prices, high rents, or the great American experiment going down the drain — this is the one set that will allow you to escape, even if only for 5 hours. Yup, it's massive! I've got all the songs compiled for the annual Beach House series and expect that to be released this next week. This particular Disco House series is taking a new direction, which I'll get into when it drops. Until then...ENJOY! There's a skip in 'Ghostbusterz - For The Ladies (Original Mix)' which cannot be fixed and is embedded in the song. Think of it like an old school vinyl listening session. WARNING: DO NOT READ THIS IF YOU'RE EASILY TRIGGERED. Just scroll down and click on 'download.' As I discussed in my rant about the leaked opinion by the SCOTUS at the end of the Gay Anthems For A New Generation 2022 Volume 3 — everything I said has been set in motion. Yesterday's opinion abolishing the right to abortion sets back 50 years of precedent. Not only does it relegate women to second-class status but gives states complete and total control over their uterus. In several states, these laws are already on the books or coming to a backasswards christofacist state near you shortly. There will be no exceptions for incest, rape, or the health of the mother. Women who have miscarriages, will be dragged down to the police station and interrogated. Unless you're wealthy or have connections — many of these women will be found guilty and given lengthy jail sentences for murder. Other women who have ectopic pregnancies, will be forced to carry the baby to term and not only deliver a dead baby but will kill the mother in the process. Virtually nothing changed in the final opinion but there were several concurring opinions of varying degrees and three descents. One of the concurring opinions was by self-proclaimed originalist Justice Clarence Thomas a.k.a. Uncle Tom. Because the court struck Roe v. Wade down reasoning that the Constitution does not mention abortion and that there's no guaranteed right to privacy under the 14th amendment's due process claims — he specifically stated that the court needs to revisit past rules that codified the rights of contraception, same-sex marriage, and same-sex intimacy — all rights won under in various court rulings using the same argument that legalized abortion. Never mind that under the original text of the Constitution, Justice Thomas is considered only 3/5 human. Equally, he conveniently left out inter-racial marriage, which was also won using the same legal arguments for the above and which he currently maintains with his batshit crazy wife Ginni Thomas. Expect to hear her name a lot in the coming months for her part in trying to overthrow our government. In a concurring opinion, Justice Thomas wrote that the court should "reconsider" rulings on contraception, same-sex relationships, and same-sex marriage. -Business Insider So for everyone that thought this case doesn't affect them — you're in for a rude awakening. During this same term, the court overturned a 100-year-old law in New York that had stringent requirements for open carry (of guns) in public spaces. All this after the mass shooting in Buffalo and Ulvade while for the first time since the 1990s — a bipartisan gun control bill passed the Senate with the support of 14 Republicans. Mind you, this bill does some good like placing extra scrutiny and background checks on anyone 18 - 21 purchasing a firearm and it closes the boyfriend loophole preventing abusive boyfriends from obtaining a gun. This is not a game-changer but it's a start. Meanwhile, Congress had to pass additional funding to protect the six radical right-wing justices and their extended families because of their activism. So protection from guns for thee but not we. During this same term, the court has further eroded the separation of church and state forcing taxpayers to pay for the religious indoctrination of children. You seriously cannot make this shit up. This court is unrestrained and relishes the fact that they get to impose the will of the Catholic church on secular society. I have a long history with the church, which I won't bore you with because it's personal and deeply painful. Don't be fooled by inflation and high gas prices as being a Democrat issue. Biden didn't cause these problems on a global basis because it is not unique to the United States and affects every country on the planet. We need a down-top approach to the mid-terms and everyone must do their part by supporting their Democratic candidates for local, state, and national office. I don't care if you're voting for dog catcher just be sure to vote 'D.' Even then, that may not be enough because many states (including my own in Georgia) have passed voting rights laws that give the legislatures the ability to override any election outcomes they don't agree with under the guise of 'voter fraud' thereby nullifying the will of the voters. If you think I'm just blowing smoke up your ass then I beg you to please research what's happening in your neck of the woods. I could bring receipts for all my claims but it's not my job to hold your hand. Find out what your state legislatures are up to. For those of you in my birth state of Texas — the people running the state are a bunch of educated dumbasses that would sooner strip away all your rights than allow you to enjoy life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness that was supposed to be guaranteed under the 14th amendment. Don't allow the christofacists to strip those rights away before we're renamed the Republic of Gilead. Album: Hot In HereArtists: VariousGenre: Tech House, House, Breakbeat, TechnoLength: 02:48:27 1. I decided to surprise everyone by dropping volume 2 of the 2022 Catch-Up series a day early. Lately, the summer weather has been hotter than hell as we had a high of 102 degrees yesterday and a short-lived massive storm complete with hail that I got stuck in. Life is coming at everyone fast so I figured why put off what you can give the people today. If you thought any songs were missing from yesterday's drop — they're likely included here. I threw in a few extras to round the final set out and the end result is an early summer party you don't want to miss. Some of you may have been disappointed that I spent so much time sending up all the Gay Anthem series in lieu of new music but to be honest — something is off about new releases. They're just not there and most of what is there is fairly generic. It appears that either the DJ services I rely on are either about to go under or there's just not enough new content that's being delivered on a regular basis. It's hard to tell but when I dive into the world of YouTube, I'm not seeing a whole bunch that's wowing me at the moment. Putting this series together was one of the hardest things I had to do. Don't get me wrong, what's here is stellar and certainly, there was enough to fill two sets with a little help from last year's late entries and a few filler tracks. Still, I couldn't justify putting out redundant sets and passing them off as new material even if there were indeed new big releases from say Lizzo. I've been working my ass off to deliver those Gay Anthem sets for you folks and in the process lost several subscribers (some of them longtime) while picking up 5x as many during the same period. I don't think those folks will stick around but if they do, welcome. In short, I'm exhausted and need to recharge my batteries for at least a week. Don't plan on anything new this next weekend but I do have plans for a duel-release just in time for July 4th celebrations. In fact, I'll be trying something different. I'll definitely be dropping the next Peak Hour set and I have another party set that's not like anything ever done before on this site that I think everyone will enjoy. It's something I had originally planned for November but put off due to scheduling issues but I think now is the perfect time to go for it. Still, July will bring our usual releases like our annual Beach House, Summer Sweat, and Summer Heat series that covers all our bases. I may shake up the Beach House series but to be honest, I haven't even started looking at those tracks yet so no decision has been made. Party Favorz is also anticipating the release of a new Beyonce hybrid dance and country album at the end of July and I fully expect it's going to be HUGE. I anticipate an early release that should make it onto the aforementioned series. In the interim, I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend. I'll be back in a couple of weeks with a double-hitter. Until then...ENJOY! Album: Catch-Up 2022 Vol. 2Genre: Dance, Club, House, NuDiscoYear: 2022Total Time: 03:00:04 1. Mabel, Jax Jones & Galantis - Good Luck (Extended Mix) 2. As promised, Party Favorz has officially switched gears into summer mode with the release of our annual Catch-Up for 2022. This set features the biggest and I mean the BIGGEST Dance Club songs of the year right at the midpoint. As typical of past releases, songs released in the last quarter of the previous year are also included because they had so much staying power — they remained in heavy rotation on streaming and in the clubs well into 2022. To be honest, the club business still hasn't fully recovered to the point that it appears Billboard has officially done away with the chart, which started in the 1970s as the Disco Chart. Who's to say if it will ever be back but the one remaining chart they offer in dance music (Electronic Dance Music) isn't worth a grain of salt and frankly not even worth bothering with. For now, all decisions for songs included in this series are based on YouTube and Spotify streams and we're confident we got it right. The Catch-Up series also includes new releases that either will be or should be summer hits and are solely based on editorial decisions about what we think should be on your radar. While there are several of these songs included across these two volumes there are definitely some notable ones we think deserve your attention. First among these is a song released in the late fall of 2021 that apparently never came to our attention. Anabel Englund's 'Midnight Rapture' is an earworm delight that samples the Blondie #1 classic 'Rapture' from 1981. It's in keeping with many artists diving into their parent's record collections and pulling out delights from the decade and re-working the songs with fresh lyrics and a whole new vibe while keeping the original intact. Englund even creates a spoken-word interlude, which is more appropriate today than Debbie Harry's wonderbread rap on the original. Still, if you're not familiar with the song it's a pure delight. You should add it to your Spotify or Apple Music playlist. Sofi Tukker (a Party Favorz favorite) is back with a couple of earworms for your summer listening. 'Original Sin' follows their trademark sound complete with the 1960s bass riff Tucker Halpern injects to great effect into many of their biggest songs. The Crush Club remix takes into deeper house terriorty but injects a euphoric and uplifting riff into the song about halfway through and is repeated again towards the end. You can add it to your Spotify or Apple Music playlist. Our biggest pick here is 'Summer In New York' where Sofi Tukker lay down their cool kids indie vibe. Sofi even adds the familiar Suzanne Vega riff from her 1980s song 'Tom's Diner,' which was given the house treatment by DNA in the early 1990s. I'm fairly certain this is Soffi doing it herself and the song does not rely on this injection to make it the surefire summer anthem it is. Instead, it's almost kind of casually thrown in because it fits the whole vibe. If this song isn't on your Spotify or Apple Music playlist — it should be. You can thank me later. I also want to recognize 'Heat' by TT The Artist, Rony Rex & Psylla. I stumbled on this song by accident and was immediately hooked and haven't been able to get it out of my head since. This is a massive Bass House tune that will blow up any dancefloor and deserves a lot more attention than it's currently receiving. You can add it to your Spotify or Apple Music list here. Check these songs out below: Party Favorz also wants to give a HUGE shoutout to relative newcomer Ryan Leary who not only creates fantastic remixes of existing tunes as featured here in Marshmello & Khalid's 'Numb' and Swedish House Mafia's 'Heaven Takes You Home' giving the originals a much needed boost but he also appears to be producing his own original work which is available on his website, YouTube channel and SoundCloud. It's definitely worth your time to check him out because he really does have some serious talent brewing and we're expecting to hear more from him in the near future. As the title indicates, this is only volume 1 of Catch-Up 2022. Volume 2 is pretty much in the can and will be dropping on Sunday. Until then...ENJOY! We have finally reached the end of the 2022 Gay Anthems For A New Generation series and this last set doesn't hold back. Once again, in an effort to contemporize this batch — I went back the past 10 years and mixed in some newer gay anthems that when mixed in with older classics that have been re-worked for today's dancefloors make the effort feel fresh and contemporary. I even took the opportunity to throw in a couple of recent tech-house tracks that sample the gay anthems 'The Underground' by Celeda and 'Work' by Masters At Work' breathing new life into these near 20 yeard old floor-scorchers. No stone was left unturned in this series and pouring through decades of modernized classics (some outstanding while others not so much) was a daunting task that occupied the majority of the work involved in creating these sets. I dare you to find any compilation as comprehensive anywhere on Spotify or Apple Music because you won't. In short, bitches can't touch this but plenty will be none too happy to pass it off as their own. I digress. What's weighing heavily on my mind these days is the move towards an authoritarian state. Our system of government is dysfunctional. The electoral college, which gives outsized weight to the minority allows them to dictate against the wishes of the majority. The great American experiment is coming to a decisive end unless we turn this ship around in November. Even when we have the numbers to get significant legislation passed like gun control, universal healthcare, lower prescription drug costs, affordable housing, mental health resources, food assistance, and free local college tuition or trade schools — Democrats are continually stymied by an ancient artifact called the filibuster in the evenly divided Senate with Vice President Kamala Harris providing the tie-breaking vote. Originally, the filibuster was implemented to allow the Senate to be a more deliberative body of the two branches of government. You had to stand and talk for hours on end to slow down a piece of legislation. Now, you can phone your objection in from your office without even walking your lazy ass to the well of the Senate. The filibuster has been wielded as a sword against progress and prevents passing laws that benefit society as a whole. It was never intended to be used as a way to stop progress. In the case of Democrats, we have a one-seat advantage in the Senate and because of two Senators with a (D) in front of them — they refuse to suspend the filibuster to get the people's agenda enacted. Mind you, the filibuster is nowhere in the Constitution and was implemented after the Civil War to ensure that the minority was trampled over in legislation. Now, it's having the opposite effect of its original intent. Most recently, simple gun control measures can only be passed with a 60 vote threshold in the Senate because two Democratic Senators are attempting to uphold the traditions of the Senate. Meanwhile. seriously mentally defective people continue to legally purchase weapons of war and use them against innocent citizens including children. As long as members of Congress are beholden to special interests (think NRA) and unfettered money pours into campaigns and PACS with virtually zero accountability — our government will remain broken and beyond repair. The filibuster was suspended twice by Republicans to shove through two Supreme Court Justice nominations giving conservatives a majority on the court. One of these nominees was only after Mitch McConnell (the Senate Leader) upheld Obama's nomination for 9 months to replace Justice Scalito after his untimely death under the guise that no Justice should be nominated in an election year. His gamble paid off and Trump won the election that year and was able to get Justice Gorsuch confirmed to SCOTUS with a simple majority. At the end of Trump's term, Justice Ginsberg passed away and Mitch McConnell rammed through Justice (handmaiden) Amy Coney Barrett right when votes were being counted that ultimately Trump lost. This maneuvering by Mitch McConnell is about to pay off in a big way after SCOTUS agreed to take the case out of Mississippi (Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization) that limited abortion to 15 weeks (the current standard is viability, which is 24 weeks). The original case that legalized abortion is Roe v. Wade in 1973. If you're wondering how that affects you...please let me explain. Roe v. Wade was decided based on the 'due process clause' of the 14th amendment of the Constitution i.e. the right to privacy. It was the same basis that previous Supreme Court rulings Griswold v. Connecticut (the right of married couples to use contraception without government restriction), Loving v. Virginia (the right for people to enter into interracial marriages), Lawrence v. Texas (which made state laws banning sodomy unconstitutional which specifically targeted the LGBT community) and most recently Obergefell v. Hodges (which opened the door for same-sex marriage across the country). A month ago, the newly minted conservative Supreme Court drafted an opinion that was leaked to the public. In the opinion, Justice Alito asserts that no privacy rights are guaranteed for abortion and the issue is a state's rights issue and should be struck down as unconstitutional despite having been the law of the land for nearly 50 years. He goes on to clarify that in no way does this decision assert that this decision relects that the court's opinion about Griswold v. Connecticut, Loving v. Virginia, Lawrence v. Texas nor Obergefell v. Hodges when we all know he's lying. In fact, should that asterisk remain in the final opinion expected sometime this month — I would suggest he's telegraphing which laws he wants states to challenge so the current court can knock them down. Republicans have been telling us for years their desire to ban all forms of contraception and even Louisana has already drafted such a measure in anticipation of the court's decision. Georgia governor Brian Kemp (my governor) has already stated that he's against birth control in any form. Multiple Republican lead states are already going after trans students who play sports and Texas has even made it criminal for parents and physicians to provide puberty blockers to their trans children and has started sending family welfare agents to their homes when the 'abuse' has been reported by any anonymous person. Florida has passed a 'don't say gay' bill for schools K-12 making any dissemination about the sexual orientation of students' parents illegal for teachers to discuss in class. Kids questioning their sexuality or identity cannot come to teachers for help. In Ohio, they recently passed a law requiring all female student athletes to have their genitals fully inspected before being allowed to play school sports (see Fact check: Ohio bill banning transgender girls from female sports could require genital checks) Republicans have gone on a book banning rampage pulling books from libraries that they find offensive and unsuitable for children. 'My Two Daddies' has gone along with hundreds of others including 'Catcher In The Rye.' I'm only providing a condensed version of everything going on in the United States at the moment. I understand that everyone has a life and is being hit by inflation, high gas prices, high rents, and a host of unforeseeable issues that are not only affecting us here in the United States but people on a global level. If you live in the United States, do not allow these problems nor Republicans to deflect from the fact that they won't lift a finger to help the average American. Recently, Republicans voted down a bill to prevent price gauging at the gas pumps and another bill to import baby formula from other countries after a major factory was shut down by the FDA due to failing inspection after hundreds of babies were hospitalized and several died from contaminated formula. Nevermind that former President Trump's renegotiated trade agreement prevented the Canadian market from importing baby formular to compete with the only three manufacturers in the United States. Their loyalty is to themselves first and to their benefactors second. Republicans will bitch and whine about inflation, gas prices and high rents (which are a global problem and beyone the control of any single person) but won't life a goddamn finger to do anything about these problems even though it affects their own constiuents. They use immigrants as a boogeyman to deflect from their severe deficiences and frankly if they are not stopped — the United States will turn from a representative democracy to the Republic of Gilead. If you think this won't happen here — look around because Republicans are telling us what they plan to do but everyone is so consumed with distractions (look a squirrel!) that they can't see the forest for the trees. I'd implore you to not listen to me but pay attention to what's happening in your state. Get more involved in local elections, run for office, read a newspaper and avoid cable news at all costs. Then, find the time to vote in November and give Democrats a two-seat advantage to water down the votes of Senator Manchin and Senator Sinema so we can finally get something done for the American people. If not — we will witness the accelerated decline of democracy and our freedoms in real-time and it will be too late to stop it. I want to thank everyone that's stuck with Party Favorz as I diligently worked on the what is the most comprehensive group of gay anthems compilations ever put together celebrating our life, love and history. I hope everyone has a very joyous Gay Pride and if you're an ally that's never been to one of our parades — I highly recommend attending and making a day out of it. You'll be glad you did. As promised, Party Favorz will resume our regular scheduled programming beginning this next week. Until the next time...ENJOY!
